At Dive Vault, we believe your data belongs to you. We have designed our application from the ground up with a strict privacy-first approach. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
We do not collect, store, or process any of your personal data on our servers. Dive Vault operates as a local-first application. All of your dive logs, personal information, and dive plans are saved directly onto your local device.
To provide a seamless experience across your devices, Dive Vault utilizes Apple's CloudKit (iCloud) framework. When iCloud sync is enabled on your device, your data is securely synchronized via your personal Apple ID.
This data is stored in your private iCloud database. We have absolutely no access to this data. It cannot be viewed, shared, or analyzed by us or any third parties.
Dive Vault allows you to attach location coordinates to your dive logs using Apple's MapKit. This location data is used strictly within the app to display your dives on a map and is saved alongside your dive logs in your local storage or private iCloud database. We do not track your location in the background or transmit your location to any external servers.
Dive Vault does not contain any third-party tracking software, analytics SDKs, or advertising networks. Your usage behavior is not monitored or sold to anyone.
If you choose to purchase Dive Vault Premium, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not process or have access to your payment information.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
